Keeps the seat low and the centre of gravity close to the kayak while paddling.

03 / COMPATIBILITY
Check your seat.
Check the frame diameter and the rails. Measurements A and B apply exclusively to the front feet of the seat.

- Measure A on the front seat feet: from the outer end of one front foot to the surface of the opposite front upright shown in the diagram.
- Measure B on the front rails: the inner spacing between the two front rails at the support locations and reference points shown.
- Check A ≤ B: the seat measurement must not exceed the available spacing between the rails.
This check applies exclusively to inserting the front feet of the seat. Use the reference points shown in the diagram.
Do the front seat feet prevent insertion?
If A exceeds B, the projecting front seat feet may prevent the frame from passing through during insertion.
The diagram shows an example of shortening only the ends of the front seat feet to bring A within B. The cut lines are illustrative: the amount to remove depends on your seat and the rail spacing.
Before modifying the frame, check that the adaptation is suitable for the seat and does not compromise its attachment or integrity. This diagram does not specify a universal cutting length.
